Bulldog Track and Field Fans, The Bulldogs showed up ready to compete at the Kankakee Mini Meet. There were several strong performances throughout the night, along with areas we know we can continue to improve in as the season progresses. As with all mini meets, there were limited events and some limited entries. The results tonight are only a snapshot of what we will see this season. Before getting off the bus, Mady Marx shared encouraging words with her teammates, quoting Steve Prefontaine: “Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you traveled from where you started.” It’s a message that may become a theme for many of our young runners this season. The coaches are looking forward to watching these athletes continue to grow and reach their goals as we navigate the long season together.
