Our girls finished 5th out of 16 teams with 233 points, with three event wins, two podium finishes on the diving board, and a relay silver. I'm very happy with how we did today. We're setting up to have a great season! Event winners Raegan O'Donnell won the 50 Free (24.46) and the 100 Free (53.31). Karsyn Johnson won the 100 Back (1:01.13) and placed 3rd in the 100 Fly (59.78). Diving Our divers had a great day on the 1-meter board, finishing 2nd and 3rd in an 11-dive event and combining for 33 team points. Aubrey Meints took 2nd with a score of 400.95, just 5.30 points behind the winner, and that's after fracturing her hand and still finishing strong! Clara Page took 3rd with a score of 353.00. Relays The 200 Free Relay of Karsyn Johnson, Mia Saba, Claire Waggoner, and Raegan O'Donnell took 2nd (1:43.88), less than 2 seconds behind the winner. The 200 Medley Relay placed 4th (1:58.29), and the 400 Free Relay placed 7th (4:19.24). Other scoring swims Alison Howard was 8th in the 500 Free (6:02.90) and 13th in the 200 Free (2:15.63). Claire Waggoner was 9th in the 100 Free (1:02.24). Mia Saba was 10th in the 50 Free (26.98) and 15th in the 100 Fly (1:10.54). Alexis Foster was 14th in the 100 Back (1:13.35). Season-best, lifetime-best, and faster-than-seed swims Karsyn Johnson swam the 100 Fly in 59.78, faster than her best time from all of last season. Alison Howard swam a lifetime best in the 200 Free (2:15.63). Alexis Foster took 1.67 seconds off her seed time in the 100 Back. Lena Bothwell took 1.64 seconds off in the 100 Breast (1:35.17).
