We keep records of the top 25 fastest times run by class for MSHS runners at the Lee Halberg Springfield Lanphier Invitational. Zach Wilcoski ran the 23rd fastest MSHS senior time with a 16:54. Auggie Gaudio ran the 23rd fastest MSHS junior time with a 16:51. Henry McMurry ran the 24th fastest MSHS junior time with a 16:52. Tate Bode ran the 24th fastest MSHS sophomore time with a 17:11. Note: Until this year, there was a freshman 2-mile which we typically put all our freshmen in, so there is not a complete list of 25 freshmen yet. Adam Smigielski ran the 2nd fastest MSHS freshman time with a 17:27. Liam Burwell ran the 3rd fastest MSHS freshman time with a 17:40. Kiptyn Fan ran the 5th fastest MSHS freshman time with an 18:22. Carter Alderks ran the 6th fastest MSHS freshman time with an 18:26. Henry Welch ran the 7th fastest MSHS freshman time with an 18:33. Tay Gergen ran the 9th fastest MSHS freshman time with an 18:38. Dominic Bruns ran the 10th fastest MSHS freshman time with a 22:17. Bernardo Allan Pinto ran the 11th fastest MSHS freshman time with a 22:51. The weather and course were both tough today. Despite this, we did have three runners run lifetime 3-mile personal bests. Freshman Carter Alderks, freshman Kiptyn Fan, and freshman Adam Smigielski all ran lifetime 3-mile personal bests. Next weekend, the team will compete at Detweiller Park in Peoria in the Richard Spring Peoria Notre Dame Invitational. The top 10 boys will compete at 10:30am in the boys varsity race. All boys not in the top 10 will compete in the boys open at 9:10am. Full Mahomet-Seymour results can be seen below. Thank you for your support.
