he MSHS Girls XC Team placed 6th out of 23 teams at the Runnin' Red Invitational in Metamora. We ran all of our athletes in the varsity race today. Finishing in our top 7 today were Emily Anand (16th), Cecily Smith (19th), Chloe Bundren (51st), Finley Smith (65th), Kennedy Ashby (66th), Morgan Waisath (76th), Jinan Abdo (77th). There were 251 runners in the race. Five athletes set new PRs: Cecily Smith (19:00), Finley Smith (20:26), Jinan Abdo (20:41), Emily Ramirez (21:56), and Ruby Anderson (24:14). Additionally, we had 7 season bests efforts today: Chloe Bundren (20:08), Morgan Waisath (20:41), Ava Jansen (21:19), Emma Frazier (21:52), Emmaline Culp (22:04), Caroline Allen (22:30), and Blaire Gabel (24:09). We close our regular season on Tuesday with the Apollo Conference Championship at Mt. Zion. Looking forward to fall temperatures, a complete roster, and a memorable senior night!
