Varsity vs Taylorville Sr High School (3 - 1) Win MS got a 3-1 road win over Taylorville. Ava Jansen with a big night scoring a hat trick for the Bulldogs. It was a great program night as many girls were able to get their first varsity minutes in a must-win game. Charlotte Richmond came up huge with the freshmen notching two assists on the night. Zoey Wallace had the other assist finding Jansen to close the first half. Claire Waggoner had two saves in goal in her first varsity minutes as a keeper. Second half, the Bulldogs were unable to find the back of the net, but the depth of the Bulldogs was on display as many girls jumped into the varsity lineup for the first time this year. The win keeps the Bulldogs in contention for the conference championship should they redeem an earlier loss to Mt. Zion, who comes to town on Thursday in what is shaping up to be the conference championship. The game is 5pm at home Thursday.
